Historical, spectacular and superlative was the Klausen Race 2006.  136 curves with a difference in altitude of 1237 meters, a race course that demanded from its zealous drivers and their post war vehicles complete skills and techniques.

By far the craziest mountain motor race in Europe, the Klausen Race which fascinated 40’000 spectators, was honoured in Stoneleigh Park (England) with the prestigious Award “Speed Event of the Year 2006.”
With new zest, zeal and enthusiasm, the Klausen Race Organisation Committee from 2006 is determined to continue its success story and plans to launch in September 2011 the Fifth International Klausen Race under the direction of the Glarner, Fritz Trümpi.
